Target Redesigns Their Makeup and Beauty Sections
You tell yourself, I am going Target just to buy toilet
paper and milk, but have you ever walked out of Target without dropping more
money than you anticipated, I know I have! That toilet paper and milk run
usually turns into buying some new clothes, accessories, makeup, skin or hair
care, but you forgot the toilet paper and milk.
Makeup and beauty is where Target
really sucks me in. With so many different brands to choose from you can easily
get lost in the brightly lit aisles and you can easily walk out of Target with
your wallet definitely feeling lighter then when you walked in.
Well, Target is redesigning their makeup and beauty sections
and it’s going to be a Sephora-like experience for drugstore and budget beauty
brands. By the end of October, 75 stores in the U.S. will be getting a makeover
with an open floor plan, bright lighting, low shelving, and other changes like
a NYX Brow Bar and you will also be seeing more products from brands like
E.L.F. Target also aims to start carrying more niche makeup brands as well as plenty
of K-Beauty products. They are even planning on rolling out serve counters with
trained associates to help you find your shade match or even skin care
consultations as well as provide free samples. The redesigned makeup and beauty
sections should be done by the end of 2018 and 400 Target stores will have all
these new changes implemented.
Are you excited about these changes? I know I am and I look
forward to seeing which my Target stores will be getting these updates and
until next time, stay happy, healthy and beautiful!
