My April Beauty Favorites
April brought the first day of spring and Easter as well as
warmer days and now April is almost over, so it’s time to talk about what I
have been loving this month:
Makeup
NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer* -
This is silky, lightweight and creates a smooth canvas for my
foundation, minimizes shine while not drying out my skin and helps my makeup
stay put all day! Love this primer!
Maybelline Dream Cushion in #30 Warm Nude*
- This has become my go to foundation this month and I am loving it! This foundation
provides a good medium coverage, has a satin finish, doesn’t settle into my
fine lines and lasts most of the day. I recommend this for normal to dry skin
types.
Physician’s Formula Youthful Wear Youth Boosting
Powder in Translucent Illuminating Finish* - I love this pressed powder!
This powder is finely milled, sets foundation really well, doesn’t look cakey
or dry on the skin, doesn’t settle into my fine lines and gives my skin luminosity
without looking shiny. I recommend this for normal to dry skin types.
Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar
& Beauty’s Touch* - These are a
blush, bronzer and highlighter in one. I have re-discovered these in my
collection and been alternating between the two throughout the month and these
save time when you don’t have time to apply a bronzer, a blush and a highlighter.
Garnier Skin Active Clearly Brighter Anti
Dark Circle Eye Roller Concealer in Light/Medium* - This is
lightweight, easy to apply, covers dark circles and the roller ball helps to
reduce under eye puffiness. This is multipurpose for eyes and is my go to over
the other concealers in my collection.
Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara* - This mascara is my holy grail and
is always in my mascara rotation because it gives my lashes volume, length,
doesn’t clump or flake and lasts all day! I have tried a lot of mascaras and I
always go back to this one!
Wet n Wild Coloricon Eye Shadow Trio in 380B
Walking on Eggshells* - Wet n Wild eye shadows are fantastic with great
pigmentation and the formula is as good as some high end eye shadows and this
trio is no exception! This one is my favorite and have been using it this month
over and over again!
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Tower of
Mauve, Rimmel The Only One Lipstick
in It’s A Keeper & Rimmel Exaggerate
Full Color Lip Liner in East End Snob* - Both lipsticks have great
pigmentation and stays on for a while before reapplying and the colors are
great for spring. The lip liner is an all-time favorite of mine and pairs
perfectly with both lipsticks!
Skin Care
Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Mud Mask* - I have rediscovered this mask and been using this once a week
throughout the month. This is a purifying mask that helps to clear out my pores
and doesn’t dry out my face after I rinse it off. This is my go to spring and summer
facial mask!
Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle
Moisturizer* - I have been using this at night this month and it is
helping to diminish my fine lines. This contains Retinol SA and isn’t drying at
all which I really like!
Simple Cleansing Micellar Water* - I
have been loving this cleansing water! This removes eye makeup with no problem including
water proof eye liner and doesn’t burn my eyes!
Hair Care
Tresemme Tres Two Hairspray* - I
have used many hairsprays over the years and I keep coming back to this one!
This doesn’t weigh my hair down, it isn’t sticky, this provides all day hold
and I can run a brush through my hair with no problem!
This is what I have been loving during the month of April.
