My Beauty Product Empties

It’s time to take a trip through my beauty trash and see what I liked, what I didn’t like and what I would repurchase:

Makeup

Covergirl Lashblast Volume* - This iconic mascara has been around for years! I love the volume and length it gives my lashes and I have repurchased this mascara many times and will buy again.

Maybelline The Falsies Pushup Drama Mascara* - This mascara did give my lashes length and volume, which I did like, but it smeared under my eyes every time I wore this so I will not be repurchasing this mascara.

Wet n Wild Lash Renegade Mascara* - This newest mascara from Wet n Wild is supposed to give your lashes length and volume, but this mascara didn’t give me either on my upper lashes, but it was good on my lower lashes which isn’t enough to make me buy this mascara again.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara* - I love this mascara! It gives me length, volume, doesn’t smear or flake and it’s easy to remove. I have repurchased many times and will continue to buy.

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara* - This mascara has quickly become my favorite! I love the length and volumes it gives my lashes and will repurchase this again for sure.

Ulta Plush Drama Volume Mascara* - This mascara did give me volume, but not a lot of length which is what I look for in a mascara so I will not be repurchasing this mascara.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara* - I really liked this mascara. It gave my lashes lots of length and volume, but it really flaked under my eyes which was really disappointing so I will not be repurchasing this mascara.

Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara* - I received a sample size of this mascara and I loved it! It gave me length, volume and did not flake or smear. This is mascara perfection and I would consider buying the full size.

Gucci Infinite Length Mascara* - I received a sample size of this mascara also. It is pretty good. It gave my lashes length and volume, lasted all day without smearing or flaking, but I will not buy this because I would rather spend the money on the Chanel mascara.

Skin Care

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser* - This has been my go to cleanser for a while now. It cleanses, hydrates and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry after using. I have repurchased this over and over and will continue to do so.

CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30* - This moisturizer has ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid which I really like, but every morning when I applied this over my anti-aging products, it would flake and the sunscreen scent was a little much, but would dissipate. I will not be repurchasing this product.

CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion* - Just like the AM moisturizer, this also contains ceramides, niacinamides and hyaluronic acid, but this doesn’t have any fragrance, doesn’t flake and moisturizes my skin. I will be repurchasing this again.

CeraVe Skin Renewing Cream Serum* - I liked this. It contains a ceramide complex and encapsulated 1% retinol. I started out using twice a week, but it was drying so I used once a week until it was gone. Will not repurchase this product.

CeraVe Eye Repair Cream* - This eye cream is good. It provided hydration and minimized my crow’s feet and I would consider repurchasing.

Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask* - I love this 2 in 1 mask! It’s a mask that you leave on for 5-7 minutes, then becomes an exfoliator with a little water. This leaves my skin baby smooth and deep cleaned. Repurchasing this again.

Alpha Skin Care Enhanced Revitalizing Cream* - I love this! I have been using this for a long time. It contains 12% glycolic acid and is not drying. Will always repurchase this!

Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle Night Moisturizer* - This contains 1% retinol SA and this was very drying and gave my chin a weird texture that wasn’t there before using this. Will not repurchase this.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Bright Booster Oil Elixir* - This oil did make my skin a little brighter and provided hydration, but it also made my skin breakout so will not be repurchasing this.

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Argan Oil* - I have been using this since it was released. I love it and use it twice a day and will continue to repurchase this!

Perfectly Pure Natural Vitamin E Moisturizing Stick* - I have been using this around my eyes morning and night for years and will continue to repurchase this.

Beauty Drops Vitamin E Moisturizer* - I love this cream! I have been using this morning and night for years too and will continue to repurchase this.

Trader Joe’s Spa 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil* - I use this to spot treat blemishes at night. It works well to help heal those unwanted spots on my face and will repurchase this.

Collagen Essence Facial Tissue Mask* - This contains 2 masks, 1 fresh aloe and 1 cucumber. Both are drenched in anti-aging ingredients and are very moisturizing and have using these for a couple of years now and will repurchase again.

Body Care

Trader Joe’s Coconut Body Butter* - This is my go to body moisturizer and has been for years. This moisturizes very well and will continue to repurchase this!

AmLactin Alpha Hydroxy Therapy Moisturizing Body Lotion* - I used this at night before bed. This lotion moisturizes very well while providing gentle exfoliation with 12% lactic acid and has helped the roughness on my shoulders. I will repurchase this again.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream* - This moisturizer is good, but was not moisturizing enough for me to repurchase.

Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing & Repair Hand Cream* - This hand cream is so good! Just a pea sized amount gave my hands much needed hydration after hand washing and before bed. I would repurchase this again.

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer* - This in shower moisturizer was okay. My skin didn’t feel that hydrated after my shower. Will not repurchase this.

Curel Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer* - This in shower moisturizer was okay also, but not moisturizing enough for me to repurchase.

Dr Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt Body Wash Comfort & Calm* - This was okay. It wasn’t moisturizing enough for me to repurchase.

Olay Ultra Moisture Shea Butter Body Wash* - This has been my all-time favorite body wash. This leaves my skin hydrated when I get out of the shower and I will continue to repurchase this.

Johnson’s Shea & Cocoa Butter Baby Oil* - I need all the moisture I can get so I apply this before my shower. It does help keep my skin hydrated while taking a hot shower and will continue to repurchase this.

Equate Cocoa Butter Petroleum Jelly* - I apply this to my feet and cover with cotton socks every night before bed. Been doing this for years and will continue to repurchase this.

Hair Care

DNA Hydrating Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser* - I do not use the traditional shampoo and conditioner, I like a cleansing conditioner and this one is the best one I have used. This leaves my hair clean, moisturized and easy to comb out and will continue to repurchase this!

I sure did accumulate a lot of beauty trash, but now I can toss all the empties and start again and until next time, stay happy, healthy and beautiful!
