My Body Care Routine - Winter Edition
This is the last of my winter skin care series which is body
care. We take care of our facial skin during the winter months, but we need to
take care of the rest of our skin too! Colder weather means hotter, longer
showers in the mornings so I have changed up my body care routine that provides
my skin with the extra moisture it needs on a daily basis so listed below are
the body care products I use before and after my morning shower:
*Eco Tools Dry Body
Brush - Every morning before I jump into the shower, I use my Eco Tools Dry
Body Brush to dry brush my entire body (If you want detailed information on dry
brushing, read my blog post “The Benefits of Dry Brushing”). Dry brushing is a
great body exfoliator, skin smoother and could help reduce the appearance of
cellulite and who doesn’t want that! http://go.magik.ly/ml/3ba1/
*Up & Up Baby Oil
Aloe & Vitamin E - After I finish dry brushing, I apply this baby oil
over my entire body. The baby oil helps provide a moisture barrier between you
and the hot water of the shower which helps keep your body hydrated while
showering. http://go.magik.ly/ml/3buj/
*Olay Ultra Moisture
Body Wash with Shea Butter - Once in the shower, I wash with this luxurious
and moisturizing body wash with a body pouf. I love this body wash and repurchase
this all of the time no matter what time of year it is! http://go.magik.ly/ml/3bux/
*Curel Hydra Therapy
Wet Skin Moisturizer - Before I step out of the shower, I use an in shower
body moisturizer. This recent discovery contains a ceramide complex that helps
moisturize your skin. Your skin absorbs it quickly with no greasy feel and I
love this and will be repurchasing again! http://go.magik.ly/ml/3bv6/
*Trader Joe’s Coconut
Body Butter - This body butter is extremely moisturizing and the coconut
scent is nice and not overwhelming. I have been using this for years and will
keep repurchasing this body butter, it is just that good! http://amzn.to/2isODRI
That is my body care routine for winter! I hope you enjoyed
my reading my winter skin care series and if you try any of the products mentioned
in my winter skin care series, let me know in the comments what you thought of
the products you tried and until next time, stay happy, healthy and beautiful!
