Target’s January Beauty Box #1 Review
Target’s beauty box is released monthly and is not a
subscription service. I receive an email from Target letting me know when the
new box is ready to order and the cost ranges from $5-$10 depending on what is
inside the box. The products you receive are sample size, deluxe sample size
and/or full size. I have been ordering beauty boxes from Target for about a
year now and the boxes have been hit or miss, but I do enjoy receiving my
monthly beauty box from Target! Target released two beauty boxes for the month
of January. Beauty box #1 at $5 and beauty box #2 at $10. I, of course ordered
both boxes and will be reviewing beauty box #1 today.
When you open the box, you see the card that says “beauty
#GOALS” and a brief note and on the reverse side a brief description of each
product in the box and a $3 coupon on a beauty purchase of $15 or more at
Target. Now, let’s see what is inside the box!
There are 8 products inside the box (4 are deluxe sample
size, 2 are sample size and 2 are full size. Here is a breakdown of each
product:
L’Oréal Revitalift
Volume Filler Serum & Cream (sample sizes). This is a serum and cream
duo that has hyaluronic acid that moisturizes and restores volume for firmer
skin. This is a definite must try for me!
Nexxus Comb Thru
Volume Finishing Spray (deluxe sample size). This is a lightweight
hairspray that provides volume and flexible all day hold and is for all hair
types.
Chapstick Total
Hydration Sugar Scrub (full size). This is a new release from Chapstick.
This lip scrub exfoliates, conditions and moisturizes with vitamin E and
coconut oil that leaves your lips soft and smooth. I can’t wait to try this
scrub, my lips need it!
eb5 Facial Cream (deluxe
sample size). This cream is oat based cream that protects, heals and
moisturizes sensitive skin with vitamins and anti-oxidants.
Beautiful Nutrition
Lemon Clarifying Treatment (deluxe sample size). This after conditioning
rinse gently removes product buildup with lemon extract for weightless, healthy
hair.
Burt’s Bees Intense
Hydration Day Lotion (sample size). This lotion contains clary sage and
probiotic technology that softens skin and helps reduce fine lines and
wrinkles. Another must try for me!
AmLactin Moisturizing
Body Lotion (deluxe sample size). This lotion contains lactic acid that
helps retain moisture while exfoliating to boost skin’s natural renewal process
for softer, younger looking skin. I have used this lotion and it is good.
Revlon Kiss Balm (full
size in the shade Juicy Peach). This balm is infused with natural oils that
instantly softens and hydrates lips without a greasy feel and contains SPF 20.
I must say, this month’s beauty box #1 from Target was
pretty good and some products I will start using right now! Friday’s blog post will
be the review on Target’s January beauty box #2 and until next time, stay
happy, healthy and beautiful!!
