Waxing, Threading, or Tweezing Your Eyebrows: Which Is Best For You
Eyebrows are one of the most important features on your face
so proper upkeep is essential, but which method is best, waxing, threading, or
tweezing. These are great options and some techniques work better for some and
not others. I have put together an overview of each method so you can decide
which is best for you:
Waxing - If you
have thicker hair that grows back quickly, waxing is the best option for you.
Not only do people see thinner, softer regrowth, they can also go longer in
between waxes since the results can last for a few weeks. The down side to
waxing is possible skin irritation and makeup will not adhere to your skin right
after waxing.
Threading -
Threading uses a string to remove hair and is a great option for those of you
with sensitive skin. While waxing tugs at the skin, threading barely has any
contact with your skin so it doesn’t lead to irritation. Also, threading
doesn’t remove the top layer of skin like waxing does so your makeup will
adhere to your skin after threading and it won’t lead to irritation.
Tweezing - Tweezing
give you a lot more control and it’s also the most inexpensive way to maintain
your brows. The most important thing to remember when tweezing your brows is to
exercise restraint. You may want to tweeze regrowth every day, but be careful
not to take it too far.
Personally, I like threading my brows. I find that threading
is precise and great for my sensitive skin, but the best recommendation I can
make to you is to experiment with all three methods to see what works best for
you and until next time, stay happy, healthy and beautiful.
